8. Rope-Wrapped Storage Baskets
Clutter is the enemy of a peaceful farmhouse aesthetic. Keep throws, toys, and extra pillows out of sight using inexpensive plastic or wire storage baskets upgraded with sisal rope. Use a hot glue gun to wrap thick jute or sisal rope tightly around the outside of the basket from bottom to top. The result is a high-end textured basket that looks like it came straight from a luxury boutique.
