3. Mini Penny Wreath Christmas Tree Ornament

3
Tiny but mighty, these mini wreath ornaments are adorable for gifting in sets or as tree decorations. Their small size makes them quick to assemble, and they’re a great way to use up leftover pennies from larger projects. Add a pop of color with festive ribbons to match your holiday theme.

Materials: 12–15 pennies per wreath, 20-gauge wire or jewelry wire, round-nose pliers, small red or green ribbon, hot glue, small jump rings (for hanging), chain or thread.

Instructions: Start by cutting a 6-inch piece of wire and bending it into a small circle (about 2–3 inches in diameter). Twist the ends to secure. Thread pennies onto the wire, overlapping them slightly as you go. Once all pennies are in place, twist the wire ends together to close the wreath. Attach a small ribbon bow with hot glue. For hanging, loop a jump ring through the top of the wreath and add a piece of chain or thread.

Time: 30–45 minutes per ornament | Difficulty: Easy

Budget Tip: Use copper wire from an old electrical cord or repurpose jewelry wire from broken pieces.
