5. Easy Origami Tulip Flower

Bring the beauty of a blooming spring garden indoors by crafting a lovely origami tulip flower that never wilts or fades. This charming project consists of two separate components: the vibrant blossom and the sturdy green stem with leaves. To craft the blossom, start with a square sheet of colorful paper, such as pink, red, or yellow. Fold the paper diagonally in half to form a large triangle, then fold the bottom left and right corners upward at an angle to create the petals. Flip the model over and fold the sharp corner tips back slightly to give the tulip a softer, more rounded silhouette. For the stem, take a green square of paper, fold it diagonally into a triangle, and unfold along the crease line. Fold the left and right outer edges inward to meet the central crease, creating a kite shape. Repeat this folding process to make the kite shape even narrower. Fold the entire piece in half lengthwise, then gently pull the lower portion of the interior stem outward to create a leaf that branches gracefully to the side. Finally, insert the pointed bottom of your tulip blossom into the top opening of the stem component. You can create an entire bouquet of colorful tulips to display in a small vase on your dining table or windowsill.
