10. Pink Bat Wall Swarm

Paper bats are the budget Halloween decor — a single pack transforms a blank wall into a moment. In pink and black, the swarm looks artistic rather than creepy, like a flock of origami birds caught mid-flight.

What You’ll Need

  • 2-3 packs paper bats in pink, blush, and black (mixed sizes)
  • Removable adhesive dots or mounting putty
  • Optional: small pink pumpkin on the stair landing
  • Step stool for reaching high spots

How to Make

  1. Fold each bat’s wings upward slightly so they look three-dimensional.
  2. Stick adhesive dots to the back of every bat.
  3. Begin at the bottom of the staircase wall, placing bats close together.
  4. Work upward and outward, spacing bats wider as the swarm “flies” higher.
  5. Step back, check the shape, and fill any thin spots with small bats.
