2. Pink Ghost Garland

Pink paper ghost garland strung across a white fireplace mantel with blush pumpkins

A ghost garland is Halloween decorating at its sweetest, and in shades of pink and white it becomes pure spooky chic. Drape it across your mantel, a doorway, or along a staircase banister — anywhere with a long horizontal line will do.

What You’ll Need

  • 2 pink ghost garlands (blush, ballet pink, and cream tones)
  • Removable adhesive hooks (2-4 depending on span)
  • Small blush pumpkins for the mantel surface
  • 1 black accent piece (candlestick, cauldron, or lantern)
  • Optional: battery fairy lights to weave through the garland

How to Make

  1. Stick removable hooks at each end of the mantel and one in the center for support.
  2. Hang the first garland with a gentle swag, letting the center dip lower than the ends.
  3. Hang the second garland slightly higher and shorter so the two layers overlap.
  4. Arrange small pumpkins along the mantel surface beneath the garland.
  5. Add your black accent piece off-center and weave in fairy lights if using.
