9. Wine Cork Bath Mat

9
Bring a spa-like touch to your bathroom with a DIY wine cork bath mat. It’s water-resistant, comfortable underfoot, and adds a unique, textured look to your space. Plus, it’s a great way to use up a large number of corks in one go.

Materials: Wine corks, a non-slip rubber mat or a piece of outdoor mesh, hot glue gun, and a craft knife.

Instructions: Measure the area where you want to place the mat to determine the size. Lay the rubber mat or mesh on a flat surface. Arrange the corks in a tight pattern on the mat—you can place them vertically, horizontally, or on their sides for different textures. Once satisfied with the layout, glue each cork down securely. Let dry completely before placing the mat in your bathroom.

Time: 3–4 hours

Difficulty: Intermediate (requires patience to glue all the corks)

Customization: Use corks of varying lengths for a dynamic look. For a pop of color, paint the tips of some corks in soft pastels or neutrals.

Display Suggestion: Place it in front of your sink or bathtub for a functional and stylish upgrade.
