5. No-Carve Glitter Pumpkins

Glitter and kids go together like fall and pumpkins. This no-carve project is a sparkly, mess-friendly (well, as mess-friendly as glitter can be) way to create show-stopping pumpkins without the fuss of carving. It’s also a great option for little ones who might not have the patience for intricate designs.
Materials: Small pumpkins (real or faux), white school glue, glitter (orange, gold, or multicolor), paintbrush, newspaper or wax paper, optional: clear sealant spray.
Instructions: Cover the work surface with newspaper or wax paper. Let the kids paint glue onto their pumpkins in stripes, polka dots, or random patterns. While the glue is still wet, sprinkle glitter over the pumpkin, pressing it gently to stick. Shake off the excess glitter and let the pumpkins dry completely. For extra durability, spray with a clear sealant. These glittery pumpkins look beautiful as centerpieces or scattered along a mantel.
