4. Whipped Sugar Scrub in Mini Jars

Body scrubs are a favor people actually use, and they’re remarkably quick to make. Whipped sugar scrub has a fluffy, lotion-like texture that feels far more expensive than it is.
Materials: white sugar, coconut oil or a light carrier oil, a splash of vanilla or essential oil, small glass jars with lids, and labels.
How to make them: Whip one part coconut oil with two parts sugar using a hand mixer until it looks like frosting, adding scent a few drops at a time. Spoon into jars, smooth the top, and seal. Add a label with a short note: “scrub gently in the shower, rinse well.”
Time and difficulty: Forty-five minutes for twenty jars. Beginner, though it can get messy — lay down parchment paper first.
Customization: Use brown sugar and cinnamon for a cozy autumn feel, or lemon zest and poppy seeds for something bright. Choose oils that stay solid at room temperature so the jars don’t leak in transit.
