9. Honey Jars with Wooden Dippers

9
Honey favors feel warm and generous, and they suit barn venues, rustic tables, and anything with a golden-hour palette. Paired with a wooden dipper, they’re also genuinely useful.

Materials: small glass honey jars, local honey, wooden honey dippers, fabric squares or twine, and labels.

How to make them: Fill each jar using a funnel, leaving a little headspace. Wipe the threads so lids seal cleanly. Top each lid with a square of fabric secured by twine, and tuck the dipper alongside in a small kraft bag or attach it with a loop of ribbon.

Time and difficulty: About 90 minutes for forty jars. Beginner, though honey is sticky — work over a tray and keep damp cloths nearby.

Customization: Buy honey from a local apiary and mention the source on the label. Add a note suggesting guests drizzle it over yogurt, biscuits, or tea. Glass is heavier than most favors, so factor in transport weight.
