7. Egg Carton Bee Finger Puppets

Finger puppets are a fun, portable craft that kids can take anywhere. These tiny bees are quick to make and perfect for on-the-go play.
Materials: Cardboard egg carton, yellow and black paint, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, glue, scissors.
Instructions: Cut the egg carton into individual cups, then trim the cups down to about half their height to make them finger-sized. Paint them yellow with black stripes and glue on googly eyes. Twist small pieces of pipe cleaner into antennae and attach them to the top. Let your child slip the puppets onto their fingers and bring them to life!
Time: 20–30 minutes (plus drying time)
Difficulty: Easy
These puppets are small enough to fit in a pocket, making them great for car rides, waiting rooms, or playdates.
💡 Pro Tip: If the egg carton cups are too large for little fingers, cut them down further or use a smaller egg carton (like one for quail eggs).
