8. Egg Carton Bee and Flower Wall Art

Turn your child’s craft into a piece of wall-worthy art. This project combines bees with a flower background to create a colorful, textured masterpiece.
Materials: Cardboard egg carton, yellow, black, and green paint, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, glue, scissors, large sheet of paper or cardboard, markers.
Instructions: Create 3–4 bees using egg carton cups. On a large sheet of paper or cardboard, draw or paint a garden scene with flowers, stems, and leaves. Once the background is dry, glue the bees onto the scene as if they’re flying around the flowers. Add details like clouds, sun, or grass to enhance the artwork.
Time: 1–1.5 hours (plus drying time)
Difficulty: Moderate
This project is a great way to practice fine motor skills, as kids can focus on painting small details. Hang the finished piece in their room or give it as a gift to a family member.
